As the core force of human resource, a company’s middle and senior managers directly determined a company’s development and existence. The management ability and professional ethics determined the performance of a department and even an enterprise and were directly related to the enterprise’ reputation, benefits, quality, costs and workers’ stability. Therefore, each enterprise hoped to cultivate a team of middle managers with talents and good ethics. Therefore, the training center organized outdoor training fro middle managers from all departments. This outdoor training taught workers through lively activities, further increasing workers’ quality, helping them cultivate teamwork and eliminating the barriers between departments so as to create a outstanding management team full of characteristics.
From 5 to 6 this month, the middle class of the company’s workers went to a trip in Shantou last two days. On the morning of 5 November, workers took a bus and arrived at Shantou after two hours. When the bus got to the destination, workers wore battle figures under the guidance of coaches, showing vitality. Divided into groups, workers began to warm up and dance to lively music. Later, the couches explained the goal and requirement of the activity.
The first activity was the ceremony to give out flags. Each team selected a representative and needed to design the team’s name, emblems, songs and styles in a short time after catching their favorite flags. At first, because of the disparity in opinions, none of the teams could finish the task in time. That’s why this activity was organized. It aimed to encourage all teams and enhance their awareness of obeying rules.
The most impressive activity was an activity to break ice. With 13 team members, each team was organized in a short time, so poor teamwork was unavoidable. The game can break the barriers between female and male workers and between different departments. Each member should draw one edge of a piece of cloth and throw a volleyball upward for 60 times. At first, all of them shouted that it’s impossible to finish the task, as the more people were in a team, the more would mistakes happened. After practicing for a short time, members gradually mastered the rhythms and all of them excitedly jumped after they finished the task. This game not only can practice workers’ teamwork but also enhanced their skills and innovation ability and the sense of competition.
There was another impressive game. A member should close his eyes and lay on the hands of other members from a high place. Workers spent a lot time in this activity. It’s not because they did not believe their team members. They were afraid that other people could not hold them. This game was same as the management of the company. I believed you can finish the task, but I was afraid of the consequence if you did not finish. Slowly, all teams began to play the game. It can be found that the first one laying down usually spent more time than the second and the third workers. Gradually, the game went fast, because workers saw the safely by confidence in others. This activity aimed to cultivate a team’s awareness of helping each other and believing in their team members, creating friendly and harmonious atmosphere.
On the way back, all workers felt that it’s worth having participating in this trip. After two days, workers overcame the obstacle of communication, built up confidence in others, improved teamwork and became brace to challenge. Hope all these vital Greatoo soldiers can apply their vitality and bravery in their jobs and play a bigger and more effective role in realizing Greatoo’s dream of lasting for 100 years.
